Emily Yu

Emily Yu is a Success Specialist at the YMCA of the East Bay, bringing a strong background in early childhood education and family support. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education, which ground her work in child development, relationship-based practice, and community engagement. She is passionate about supporting diverse families, fostering meaningful connections, and helping individuals access the resources they need to thrive. She brings warmth, compassion, and a people-centered approach to the Workforce Development team. Outside of work, Emily enjoys exploring local farmers’ markets, trying new restaurants, and seeking out new adventures. She also loves relaxing at home with her two spoiled cats.
