Melanie Gibson

Melanie Gibson has been a Success Coordinator with the YMCA of the East Bay Early Educator Apprentice Program since March 2023. A Southern California native who moved to the Bay Area in 2013 to attend college, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then went on to achieve a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She comes with 10 years of experience working in the Special Education field serving families and students from different socioeconomically diverse populations within Contra Costa and Alameda County. Melanie comes with a skill set in client advocacy, program implementation, case management and strives to help/support those who are not your average learner.
